elly and her giant hair

There once a girl named elly.

She had the prettiest hair.
It was dark but her skin was fair.

In the winter it laid right in place,
It was so nice around her face.

But in the summer with the humidity so strong,
Her hair always looked so very wrong.

It was giant, it was big,
To see her face you would have to dig.

What could she do?
Who could she sue?

It wouldn't fit in a hat.
It was so big it would hide a cat.

She couldn't tie it in a bun,
That look was overdone.

When she was walking down the street,
A handsome boy she did meet.

He said he liked her hair,
Which was funny because his head was bare.

They fell in love, what a pair,
About the hair they did not care.
