rufus
I have a dog his name is rufus. People are always telling me I need a dog. When I ask them why, they say because it's always there for you when you get home and it loves you unconditionally. I don't know if a soul-less animal is capable of love, but rufus is always there for me when I get home and I don't have to clean up his poop.

i feel the same way about my zebra, cliff! my brother rescued cliff from an old neighbor's trash pile and i adopted him several years ago.
